People always ask me how I got started designing and creating my own line of jewelry. I tell them, it all started with an expensive bracelet that I purchased on clearance. It had a lot of large beads and I decided to take it apart and make a few necklaces. Which then turned into making bracelets, then earrings and the list goes on…
I began designing jewelry in 2002 and have not stopped since. It truly is my passion.
I have done juried and non-juried Summer and Fall Craft Shows, Holiday Craft Bazaars, Town Festivals, and lots of Home Parties. I am now teaching a beginner and an advanced beading class out of my home. My work has been shown in a few beauty salons around my home state, Illinois . With the wonders of www.technology I can now show my work around the world to people like you! (Without being under a white tent in the hot summer sun.)
On a more special note, I am married to a wonderful husband. We are the proud parents of our 20-year-old daughter who is now attending Roosevelt University . She is majoring in musical theater and keeps us very busy with all of her theatrical and musical talents. When I am not creating my jewelry, I am a registered nurse and work at Pepid LLC as a managing editor of a medical reference software company and its headquarters is located in Evanston , IL .
Studied with many national artists and jewelry masters including: Sharon Clark Melanie Doerman Linda Abbott
